SPA 1—Antelope Valley
The Antelope Valley is located about 60 miles north of downtown Los Angeles and covers approximately 2,500 square miles of desert and forest. Unique in its semi-rural nature, SPA 1 includes two cities (Palmdale and Lancaster), a portion of the City of Santa Clarita, and about 35 rural unincorporated communities. SPA 1 also includes substantial portions of the Angeles National Forest.
